The true man show and how it reflects our culture today. In out daily lives we are indeed sucked into our phones. By saying this there are many explanations on why we are sucked in to our cell phones. one of the explanations is that we are not finding enough to do in our daily lives that really stimulate the seances. meaning people are not really busy enough. I am not saying that everyone go and fill there lives with pointless things to keep us busy. i am just simply saying that we have advanced so much as a species that our own lives that we were made for has now been cut in half and we have so much more free time to search and explore new things in our world. And what better way of doing this through  little black box that can answer any question that we may have. It also gives us the world t our finger tips with out having even to get off the couch. All of these thing can lead to the conception of the couch patio. but if you look deeper into the life of a couch patio is really that bad. the reason why i say this is because of all of the action and adventure that the person is having that would have been available to older generations. it opens up a world that can really not be accessed in real life. because not everyone would be able to go out and experience all of these things that you are able to experience.

On the other side of things people are losing there ability to maintain a human relationship with people around them due there electronic devices. people are also to evolved into there electronic devices, people are cutting themselves of from the world and are unable to really be on there phones and try and live a life that they are really not living. people are trying to live the lives that they think they need and neglecting the life that they have. Also people now a days are really trying to make them selves better than the actually are. People are posting pictures of there life and try to make it seem like they are having a great time with there life and then are just putting up a charade in the pursuit of a seemingly perfect life. I believe that this happens due to the face that many people are not happy where they are in life, so they pretend that it is a lot better then it actually is. Another thing that i find wrong with the electronic involvements is the amount of there lives that people post on to there social medias people are putting way to much personal information on there social media accounts. this is where i see the most correlation to the movie the Truman Show, the reason why i say this is because of how people are literally broadcasting there lives on social media accounts daily and in my personal feeling bout the broadcasting is that who really cares about that i really do not want to take time out of my own life so i can see a snippet of someone else life who is really just attention hungry.

Helicopter attack on Venezuela's Surprime Court

A police helicopter launched a daring attack on the Venezuelan Supreme Court Tuesday, in a dramatic escalation of the months-long crisis engulfing the regime of President Nicolas Maduro.

The helicopter was apparently stolen and piloted by an officer in the country's investigative police force, Oscar Perez. As it strafed the court building and the Interior Ministry in Caracas, the attackers fired gunshots and lobbed grenades, officials said.

Chemical Attack

The White House said that there are a potential preparations for another  chemical weapons attack" by the Syrian regime and warned President Bashar al Assad of a "heavy price" if one is carried out. After a Syrian chemical attack in April, the US retaliated with a missile strike.

The Princess Bride

My reaction to the princess bride review is that is was pretty right on for the most part. But there were some spots that I did not agree with "Andre the Giant as Fezzik the Giant, a crusher who may not necessarily have a heart of gold. It is Shawn who tosses the princess to the Screaming Eels, with great relish." The reason why I do not agree with this is because in the film he was depicted as a big guy that was being influenced by a man for him to do his dirty work. And also the giant did not throw the princess in to the water of the screaming eels, in the movie she jumped in the water after the crew was distracted by the approaching ship. and another thing that shows the review to be wrong is when the giant actually punches the eel that was just about to eat the princess.


Another thing that dose not go with the film is the description of the swordsman. in the review it says when describing the man " a heroic swordsman with a secret." when in the film yes he is a heroic man but he really did not have any secrets. this is shown in the movie when he meets a man that he has never meet before and is going to go into a battle to the death, he decides to tell him his life story and why he is such a good swords man today.


but overall I found that the film was really good. I have always been a fan of the film for as long as I can remember. the film has all of the charteristics that every heroic film needs a bad guy, love, and a hero. This film as always fun to watch again and I hope to watch it again soon.

Saudi King's Shocking Shakeup

In a surprise reshuffle in Saudi  Arabia's royal hierarchy, the king has removed his nephew as crown prince in favor pf his son , a 31 year old who has long had a visible role in the government. With this move it appears the king has cut off other branches of the family from the throne.

Solar Wall

Trump suggested his promised border wall be covered in solar panels in meeting with congressional leaders. He said the idea could cut costs and create energy, thereby making it cheaper for Mexico, who he still maintains will pay for the wall.

Business

Yesterday during our field trip I visited many different establishments. During these visits I tried to see if I could talk to the owner of these establishments. I could really only find one store owner at the time. But he was really nice and I had a very good conversation with him. we really just talked about his life and what really lead him to become a successful business owner.


 The man said to me that he it took a lot of hard work and dedication. He has to find his own way through collage and also had to work many jobs at the same time. at one time he said that he had to work 3 jobs a day.


and it took a lot of work to be able to save up to be able to open up his own shop. but the hard work didn't stop when he owned his own business no it had just began. He is still working all of the time and he working his best to keep the business flowing smoothly.


he dose love his work though watching his business grow was one of the better thing in his life and cant wait to see all of his hard work finally pay off. this really did spark something inside of me to really go and pursue the though challenge of being an  business owner. it would be really nice to know that you have built something that will last you and your family and even support your family then you are gone.

Wall-E

Wall-e as a satire. The way that I view the movie Wall-e as a satire is really the whole movie. the first thing that we see when we are coming into the movie is a demolished world that looks like every thing went wrong that could have happened. the new planet was all dry, hot, and unforgiving. But through all of the destruction there is one little force that is trying his best to keep it all together, and that force is Wall-e a little robot that has a lot of human characteristics. For example he is funny has a friend, is discovering new things, is curious, and most important of all he is trying to find love. In  my option   Wall-e is representing all of the people in the world that are looking for more in there life.


And then Eve arrives, is a mysterious robot that Wall-e is just head over heels for. This is just the adventure Wall-e has been looking for in his life. But you find that she has quite a temper and try's to actually kill Wall-e on two or three separate occasions.This is the next satire that I have found in the film. This is showing the superiority that women have over men. you can see this through the way that Eve is so much more advanced and powerful than him and she could really destroy him at any moment and he was completely at her mercy.


Last but not least the fat people. this last satire comes from the physical appearance of the people on board the ship. they have all become to big to walk and also are all taken over by a company. they are also really sucked into there electronics, and have really no actual face to face contact with the other people on board. This relates to two things in our society. one we are letting big corporations take over us and we are engulfed with the food goods and we need to watch our obesity levels. and the second one is way that we are loosing out ability to talk to one another face to face because of the electronics.

Tiny Houses

I believe tiny houses are awesome for not only us but also the environment. I think that this is next generation housing. the reason why I say that is because of how they are really affordable. So affordable in fact that they can really help people get off the street and into there new home and back on there feet. They also can have many really cool and unique designs. With these new tiny house we are able to really live in a smaller space and taking up less of our environment. this could also help slow the spread of urbanization into out forests and other wild areas.


These tiny houses are also very self sufficient. Meaning that you can operate these homes with very little effect to the environment around you and little effect to your wallet. you can also get attachment that can make your tiny home run on solar energy. You can also get a version that is actually mobile meaning that you can bring home with you where ever you go. This new tiny house of the future is really breaking way in many city's and smaller communities. I personally think that it would be really cool and fun to be able to have one of these tiny houses to live in.

A Fist Full of Dollars

Honestly I do not agree with the review. I really thought that it was a great film. And I really do not agree on what the critic said about the main carter. I thought that he was a really good hero in the film and yes he might have been looking for money, but  he helped free a town of two power house criminal family's. and I really do not agree with this statement from the critic "He is a morbid, amusing, campy fraud." this I feel is just ridiculous he is the farthest thing from being a fraud. he really stayed true to him self and didn't let other forces change his thinking.

Why We Take Risks

Why do we as a species takes risks? my option on the really relates to our more primitive ancestors, back in the cave man days we would have to take certain risks in order to survive. This could very from ether just going across the river in order to look for better food resources to traveling the globe. this can be seen in more recent years, you can see this through the pioneers. Pioneers would travels thousands of miles across the country in order to find a better life, or to make a name for themselves.


I believe that this is what the new risk takers are really looking to do with there amazing stunts. And the reason why they are becoming so extreme is because of the new competition that is coming in. in many different fields there are people that are always pushing the limits on what there is. You can really see this with Alex Honnold. Alex has been really testing the boundaries on what is really possible with the sport of rock climbing. on of the things that he has done recently that has just stunned the world is free soloing (with out ropes) El Captain in 3 hours. This climb is huge it is one of the largest climbs that there in in our world. And for most people its takes like two days with ropes to do it. and these are some of the bet climbers that have troubles with this climb and Alex does it like its nothing. people like Alex really push the limits of what a human can do and as a species that what we are suppose to do really test what we can do.

Childhood storys

To begin my childhood story it begins in the mountains of Montana. at the time I was 6 years of age. we were living in a mountain home up in the hills where there was a stream running through the property, also there were green trees and many fun things. It was a quiet day the birds were chirping butterfly's flying and deer grazing. Then suddenly out of the bushes pops out a wild kid (aka me) and starts to chase all of the animals that were just minding there own business and made them run away this was a typical day for me as a child. I was always running around in the woods and kind of messing around with stuff that probably dose not need to messed with. 


So when I we moved into town it was not a good mix for me. I really was a wild kid in a city. I would run around half naked all of the time. I would also try to hunt the neighborhood cats all day long. another thing that I was not use to was having the world not being my toilet so it took a long time for me to really get use to going to the bathroom in side and yes that means I went to the bathroom in my yard. I would also start digging huge holes in the yard and fill them up with water and then sit in it and play with my toys. as you can see that I was pretty much just living by my own rules.


Until one day I finally hit the last straw. So it really begins when my parents decided to bring me to the graduation party of one of our family friends. we were all having a grand ole time every one was laughing and having this really good time. And they had some amazing food and drinks. so I decided to have way to much of these drinks. I must of had at least 7 or 8 drinks. so a little later I really needed to go to the bathroom, but I didn't want to seem like a complete animal and just go where everyone could see m. so I went to the bath room, and at this time I was about to have an axe dent I needed to go so bad. But with my bad luck all the bathrooms were full. and I really needed to go like really bad. so at this time I was on the deck and so I decided to let her rip. So I was peeing off of the edge and knowing my luck the girl that the party was being thrown for decided to walk right under my stream. and that's my story.

Butch and the Sundance Kid Reation

Over all I though that the movie was great. the reason for me at least is because it mixed the right amount of action comedy and romance right in to one movie. usually with old westerns you would only really only get on or two of these in a film. But in this film you were able to enjoy the comic relief of the charters. I also think that they did an extremely good job at playing the bandits. I also really enjoyed how the comedy wasn't to drawn out, this part really got me interested in to the film. Also I enjoyed how the two main charters would compliant each others features. For instance Butch was a slick talker and was the man in charge and really wouldn't much get to him. he was also very slick with the woman.Then the Sundance Kid was the macho guy and you wouldn't want to mess around with this guy. he was a kind of podgy at shooting guns. Also these two were hard to keep apart. An example of this is when with are coming back to the old gang Butch was confronted buy the new guy in charge and he wanted to challenge Butch to a Knife fight and then Butch leaned over to Sundance and said if he kills me shoot him, and Sundance said I was already going to do that. I think that this is a prom example of how loyal these two were to each other you really couldn't drive these two apart. even when it came to girls you couldn't like when Butch stole Sundance's girl, all Sundance had to say about it was keep her. I hope that you were able to see my reaction to this great film. 

Americas Super Hero

The real American hero's. on September 17, 2015 three men were face to face with our nations president and told that they were the prime American example. The three men were Airman 1st class Spencer Stone, Oregon National Guard Spc. Alex Skarlatos, and Civilian Anthony Sadler.


There heroic story began on a innocent  reunion trip between the three friends, when they decided to take a trip to France. They were on a train to Paris when something went terrible wrong.  A gunman armed with an AK 47 a pistol and a box cutter started shooting. The three friends were able to disarm the attacker and then tie him down until proper authorities arrived. By doing this great deed the were able to save the lives of many people that were on board that train.


The three men were all greatly appreciated by French government for helping them avoid an international attack. The three men were given the highest honor " the Legion of Honor" the French President even had this to say to the president "I could not be more grateful for what these outstanding young Americans did". While subduing the attacker one of the friends(Stone) was injured, so intern he was given the purple heart. Stone will has also been promoted two ranks. Also stone will be awarded the Airman's medal. Sadler will receive the medal of valor(which is the highest award that a civilian can receive).


when the three hero's came back home they were all showered with praise, not only from the people of America and the world but the president. infarct shortly after the ordeal the men got a call from Obama just to check in and see how they are doing. The three men were then invited to the white house and talked to Mr. Obama and the president had this to say about the men " the represent the very best of America people".


I hope that I opened up about way of thinking of what a hero can be. It can be anyone really as long as they have the courage to stand out agents the crowd and stand up agents the evils that occur in our world. I hope that young and courageous American can set a example for many of those in the world to make a stand those who wish to oppress our world.

The Future

In my mind we really ether have two futures really its ether the good or the bad one. I am going to start it off with the good one. in my good future is really the clean technology where we have really embraced the renewable resources. we have also found ways to really clean up our environment and we have saved many animal species from becoming extinct and you never know may have finally figured out how to bring back other animal species that have been extinct for thousands of years, that we have caused. also in this future we have began to expand the human race on the other planets like mars and have actually been able to build a base on the planet that can support a large number of people so then the global population of the earth would then be reduced there for fixing the problem of overpopulation. another way I could see them fixing that problem is really going up with buildings what I mean by this is actual supper structures that can house thousands upon thousands of people. and also we would have figured out a better way to re use our waste. Also in this future I could see there being no more different country's but one society that really looks out for the need of everyone.


Now for the bad future. In this future things are not looking so hot. the reason why is because the glaciers in china and India have melted and the glaciers in the north and south poles have also melted. and the glaciers in the north and south pole both contained a large amount of green house gasses which then heat up the global tempter even more. then the sea level will begin to rise putting under water many of the coastal city's and displacing millions of people from there homes. and in china and India it has gotten critical the water that fed into there farms is all gone and they are now desperate for food. this then prompts them to start building up there military's to go invade other country's for food and other natural resources. this then would create another global arms race which would intern lead to the end of the world by destruction of the atom bomb.

The Peele therory

I completely agree with the view point of Mr. Peele. humanity is really the most dangerous thing and on this earth and if you implant an Idea that can influence or scare people to going on its side it can be catastrophic. A prime example of this is the Nazi's. They were able to get most of Europe to submit to fear. This lead to no one saying or objecting in the government when they started to kill off people that a select few thought were unfit for society. through this millions upon millions of people where murdered. Also we shouldn't let power influence us into believing what they say is true we should always do our own research.


I also do see how people can be afraid of not being apart of the crowd. this can be also traced into our ancestral roots because we are a social species and we don't want to left out by our own while everyone else is all together and know what is going on and you are just in the dark. that can also cause a since of fear for your life because what if the group decided to just eliminate you because they didn't like you and you couldn't do anything about it because you were on the outside looking in. So I believe that this is a really big social norm for us to fall in to following the mob for our own safety and scene of belonging.

Blast Kills 7 near Afgan Mosque

NARRITIVE OF THE LIFE OF FEDRICK DOUGLASS AN AMREICAN SLAVE

I am choosing to do my quotation from the working conditions when Fredrick was under the care of Mr. Covey to really describe the way that these men were really worked and how poorly they were treated. "If at one time in my life more than another, I was made to drink the bitterest dregs of slavery, that time was during the first six months of my stay with Mr. Covey. We were worked in all weathers. It was never too hot or too cold; it could never rain, blow, hail, or snow, too hard for us to work in the field. Work, work, work, was scarcely more the order to the day than of the night. The longest days were to short for him." From this passage in the book you can really see how they were treated, they weren't treated as men but they were treated like just another piece of property, which he expected to work as long and as hard as he did (Mr. Covey). they would also work the men until they were broke which mean that they lost there will to really live and they are just another brute which is what the slave owners wanted because they wouldn't want to be free anymore. But in this section of the book he dose get his humanity back when one day he collapsed and from the heat and when Mr. Covey told him to get up he tried but could not Mr. Covey then precedes to beat Fredrick and then leaves him to die. but Fredrick somehow get the idea that he can't live like this anymore and runs off in the woods to go talk to his owner Master Thomas. And when he reached him he did not get the result that he wanted. But threw this he found a new fire inside of him to really get out of the bonds of slavery and gave him the courage to fight back. These tails of injustice can be found all over the book like for instance when under the care of the Captain, on of the overseers shot and killed a man just because he wouldn't get out of the water. Or the time when his aunt was whipped non stop just because she did not love the slave owner that loved her so dear. and hopefully through this you can see the ways that the American slave was treated and how unjust it really was.

What's wrong with our Gereration

I do agree with this story that you have given us. The reason why I say this is our culture has really corrupted the younger generation. back in the day people use to always have a sense of humility and respect for there selves and others. You can really see this in the way that men treat woman now of days. men use to treat them with dignity and respect. now they barley even get to know them. In reality all that men want now of days is really a one night stand. But that doesn't mean that woman are getting off scot-free. the typical attractive woman now of days just toys with men now of days. on there snap chats and text messages they have twenty to thirty guys on stand buy just waiting for there chance to talk to her. Also women can open themselves up to flirtation from men that all they want is sex. How they do this is buy posting revealing images on many different social media apps.


next we are really giving praise to people who have done nothing to gain it. for example Kim K one of the biggest stars on social media, but why is she famous. She really has no talent she doesn't do anything except sit there are let people look at he big butt that literally all she dose is buy stuff and take photos of her self. and then we really do not give credit where it is due, for example Tim Tebow, a great athlete in collage and a really religious man and he really dose not get glorified like Kim K at all. instead he is ridiculed and made fun of. By people who don't have a quarter of the motivation that this man has.

Man dies After Swimming With New Tattoo

A 31 year old man was admitted to the hospital after he went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico around five days after getting a new tattoo. he then contracted a bacteria from the water which created a serious which then lead to the death of the man due to septic shock. 

The National Anthem therory

I agree with the first option the reason why I say this is because I really do believe that it dose take a certain amount of courage to sing in a public place the reason why is because we are always afraid that we are not good enough to be with everyone else.


But I also agree with the second point the reason why is because I think that the sinning of the national anthem to really stand up to what we believe in

An Army veteran John Robert Neumann, Jr has killed five employees of a store that he use to work with in Orlando Florida. it was said that he had a very negative relationship with at least one of the victims.

Is Rapid City Any Good?
With this statement there are many things that can factor in to both sides of the story. On one hand there is the down falls about Rapid like how it dose not have a lot of indoors things that are open to the public in Rapid. another thing that discredits Rapids reputation is the flection of the weather. in Rapid it could he one hounded   degrees by day and at night the tempters can drop down to forty or fifty degrees. the weather also is very unpredictable in the winter and spring months. for example this year in the spring one day the tempters reached almost eighty degrees on day and the very next day we got around two to three inches of snow.


But some of the good things about Rapid City. one of the things that draw people to Rapid City is its closeness to the back hills. And once in the black hills there are a lot of activity that you can do, for example you can go to the many lakes in the hills like Pactola, Sheridan, Sylvan, Horse Thief, or  Angostura. and you can also go on hikes in the black hills like our famous Harney peak. you can also goon the Nickleison trail. you can also go on helicopter rides and also ride on horse back threw the hills. you can also visit many small town that have a rich history. like Dead Wood, Keystone, and Hill City.


I believe that Rapid City is a very beautiful place and I fell lucky that I am able to live here and call this wonderful land my have. I do believe that it take a certain type of person to live in rapid to bear through the tough weather and actually really soak up what rapid has to offer.
