The Truman Show

The true man show and how it reflects our culture today. In out daily lives we are indeed sucked into our phones. By saying this there are many explanations on why we are sucked in to our cell phones. one of the explanations is that we are not finding enough to do in our daily lives that really stimulate the seances. meaning people are not really busy enough. I am not saying that everyone go and fill there lives with pointless things to keep us busy. i am just simply saying that we have advanced so much as a species that our own lives that we were made for has now been cut in half and we have so much more free time to search and explore new things in our world. And what better way of doing this through  little black box that can answer any question that we may have. It also gives us the world t our finger tips with out having even to get off the couch. All of these thing can lead to the conception of the couch patio. but if you look deeper into the life of a couch patio is really that bad. the reason why i say this is because of all of the action and adventure that the person is having that would have been available to older generations. it opens up a world that can really not be accessed in real life. because not everyone would be able to go out and experience all of these things that you are able to experience.

On the other side of things people are losing there ability to maintain a human relationship with people around them due there electronic devices. people are also to evolved into there electronic devices, people are cutting themselves of from the world and are unable to really be on there phones and try and live a life that they are really not living. people are trying to live the lives that they think they need and neglecting the life that they have. Also people now a days are really trying to make them selves better than the actually are. People are posting pictures of there life and try to make it seem like they are having a great time with there life and then are just putting up a charade in the pursuit of a seemingly perfect life. I believe that this happens due to the face that many people are not happy where they are in life, so they pretend that it is a lot better then it actually is. Another thing that i find wrong with the electronic involvements is the amount of there lives that people post on to there social medias people are putting way to much personal information on there social media accounts. this is where i see the most correlation to the movie the Truman Show, the reason why i say this is because of how people are literally broadcasting there lives on social media accounts daily and in my personal feeling bout the broadcasting is that who really cares about that i really do not want to take time out of my own life so i can see a snippet of someone else life who is really just attention hungry.

Helicopter attack on Venezuela's Surprime Court

A police helicopter launched a daring attack on the Venezuelan Supreme Court Tuesday, in a dramatic escalation of the months-long crisis engulfing the regime of President Nicolas Maduro.

The helicopter was apparently stolen and piloted by an officer in the country's investigative police force, Oscar Perez. As it strafed the court building and the Interior Ministry in Caracas, the attackers fired gunshots and lobbed grenades, officials said.

Chemical Attack

The White House said that there are a potential preparations for another  chemical weapons attack" by the Syrian regime and warned President Bashar al Assad of a "heavy price" if one is carried out. After a Syrian chemical attack in April, the US retaliated with a missile strike.

The Princess Bride

My reaction to the princess bride review is that is was pretty right on for the most part. But there were some spots that I did not agree with "Andre the Giant as Fezzik the Giant, a crusher who may not necessarily have a heart of gold. It is Shawn who tosses the princess to the Screaming Eels, with great relish." The reason why I do not agree with this is because in the film he was depicted as a big guy that was being influenced by a man for him to do his dirty work. And also the giant did not throw the princess in to the water of the screaming eels, in the movie she jumped in the water after the crew was distracted by the approaching ship. and another thing that shows the review to be wrong is when the giant actually punches the eel that was just about to eat the princess.


Another thing that dose not go with the film is the description of the swordsman. in the review it says when describing the man " a heroic swordsman with a secret." when in the film yes he is a heroic man but he really did not have any secrets. this is shown in the movie when he meets a man that he has never meet before and is going to go into a battle to the death, he decides to tell him his life story and why he is such a good swords man today.


but overall I found that the film was really good. I have always been a fan of the film for as long as I can remember. the film has all of the charteristics that every heroic film needs a bad guy, love, and a hero. This film as always fun to watch again and I hope to watch it again soon.

Saudi King's Shocking Shakeup

In a surprise reshuffle in Saudi  Arabia's royal hierarchy, the king has removed his nephew as crown prince in favor pf his son , a 31 year old who has long had a visible role in the government. With this move it appears the king has cut off other branches of the family from the throne.

Solar Wall

Trump suggested his promised border wall be covered in solar panels in meeting with congressional leaders. He said the idea could cut costs and create energy, thereby making it cheaper for Mexico, who he still maintains will pay for the wall.

Business

Yesterday during our field trip I visited many different establishments. During these visits I tried to see if I could talk to the owner of these establishments. I could really only find one store owner at the time. But he was really nice and I had a very good conversation with him. we really just talked about his life and what really lead him to become a successful business owner.


 The man said to me that he it took a lot of hard work and dedication. He has to find his own way through collage and also had to work many jobs at the same time. at one time he said that he had to work 3 jobs a day.


and it took a lot of work to be able to save up to be able to open up his own shop. but the hard work didn't stop when he owned his own business no it had just began. He is still working all of the time and he working his best to keep the business flowing smoothly.


he dose love his work though watching his business grow was one of the better thing in his life and cant wait to see all of his hard work finally pay off. this really did spark something inside of me to really go and pursue the though challenge of being an  business owner. it would be really nice to know that you have built something that will last you and your family and even support your family then you are gone.
